Meet the founder
Giorgos “Yorkos” Kyriakou
Actor · stand-up comedian · producer
Giorgos founded Stantar Kkomety in 2023 with a simple idea: Cyprus deserved a comedy scene with its own voice, its own rooms and a direct line to the wider stand-up world.
Onstage he performs as Yorkos the Comically Cypriot. Offstage he builds shows, creates opportunities for new performers and brings comedians together across languages and borders.

From one theatre
to a whole city.
What began at Rialto Theatre grew into an international comedy festival across Limassol's historic centre—multiple stages, street energy and performers from Cyprus and abroad.
